Can our team still edit the website?
Yes. We build a dedicated CMS for the agreed content types, with drafts, previews, publishing and role-based access. We demonstrate the editing workflow during development and train your team before handover.
Will all of our WordPress plugins carry over?
Plugin code does not move into Next.js. We inventory the jobs each plugin performs, retire unnecessary dependencies and rebuild or reconnect the functions you still need. Complex commerce, memberships and bespoke plugins require separate discovery.
Will the migration improve our rankings?
We do not promise ranking gains. We preserve important URLs and metadata, map redirects, test rendered content and monitor search after launch. Search engines may still take time to process the migration.
Do we own the website and CMS?
Yes. The agreed deliverables include the source repository, content exports, deployment documentation and a handover of your infrastructure accounts. Third-party software and services remain subject to their own licences and subscriptions.
Can we use the assessment with another developer?
Absolutely. The blueprint is designed to be a practical brief you can export and share. You can commission Appycodes, use your existing team or choose another developer.
What happens after launch?
The package includes a 14-day window for defects against the agreed scope. Ongoing dependency updates, backups, monitoring, content changes and feature development need an agreed maintenance arrangement, with us or your own team.
